It tastes like summer! 🌞🥑 Here comes the making process of the nachos/bravas plate. The challenge was to throw it in one piece to avoid gluing two pieces together which can cause breakage. I am quite happy with the result and can’t wait to try it with new glazes! I was out of the studio of a while, enjoying crystalline waters in Mexico. But now I am back, full of energy to start production again! This is a series of cups I made last month, called cups Elsa. This is one of the times that I sit at the wheel without expectations, just to free my creativity. I usually create my best work in this state of mind. This time was not an exception, I am super happy with the result. The challenge was to keep a uniform foot and lid but create a variety of shapes in the middle. You approved this glaze in a past story where I was testing glazes. I like it a lot too, it has a lot of effects depending on how I poured the cups into the glaze bucket. This vase was both an experimentation with shape and with glazes. I am not used to work with strait lines vases but I really like the result. For the glaze I mixed two different green glazes. The one on top is quite runny so it creates this drop effect with variations of colour.
